Every USDC deposit comes from Arbitrum and is credited only once the validators agree on it. No single validator can credit funds on its own.

Your margin is held in the Vordex vault on Vordium Chain. Its balances are kept by the network itself, not by a separate app.

Insurance fund
The insurance fund absorbs bad debt from liquidations. If a liquidation creates a loss exceeding the trader's margin, the insurance fund covers it before auto-deleveraging (ADL) engages.
